Pastor Frank was called by God to be our Senior Pastor on July 1, 2001. He has been a Christian since 1964, and holds Masters and Doctorate degrees. Pastor Frank and his wife Lynn, have two children, Nathan, a High School English teacher, and Susanna,a college student.. Pastor Frank and Lynn feel called of the Lord to lead our Church to accomplish Christ's mission. We are excited to have them in His service here at our Church. Pastor is available to assist with your spiritual needs.

Randy has served as our Church Music and Worship Pastor since August of 1997. He was saved in 1975 in a Junior High Retreat at Lake Shasta. Randy is a gifted and talented musician, and plays several instruments, In addition to leading our overall Music program, he is the Director or the Opportunity Program at one of our local school districts. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Music, and a Masters in Education. With his many years of music experience and education, we are proud to have Randy leading our worship team.

Grandpa Dick Laughman is our volunteer part time Church Business Administrator. His duties include taking care of business matters so that our Pastors can concentrate on ministering and pastoring. Dick is a longtime member and Deacon, and he has had extensive business management experiences. He and his wife, Beverly have two married Daughters and two Grandchildren. Grandpa Dick is ready to help with any and all business matters related to the smooth operation of our Church Campus.

Nancy has been our church secretary since 2006. She has a variety of experiences in office management including work at Bakersfield Alzheimer's Disease Association and Agape Christian Bookstore. Her duties at our church are to assist our Pastor and staff as we do GOD's work here at Columbus Street. We are pleased to have her smiling face in the Church office. She is here Monday though Friday to serve you.

Gene Jackson is our senior most active Deacon. He and Mavine were married in our church and have been God's servants here for over 60 years. Gene is a men's Sunday School teacher. Gene and Mavine are our hospital visiting prayer warriors. Gene and his wife check with the church office daily to keep track of sick or hospitalized friends. Gene is currently the Deacon's Chairman.

We are delighted to have Janie Medlen on our staff. She is our longest tenured staff person. Janie has been a Children's Minister since 1993 after receiving a degree from University of California, Bakersfield, in English and Business Administration. Janie is married to Phil Medlen, owner of P.J. Medlen Trucking. Janie knows our families, our children and their needs. We are so blessed to have her on our staff to enrich the lives of our children.

David has been a Christian since 1986 and has been our Youth Minister since 2009. He is currently working toward the completion of a Bachelors degree in Christian Studies with an emphasis in Youth Ministry at California Baptist University. He and his wife Carolyn desire to disciple our youth and develop their spiritual maturity through bible study and practical mission experience. We are indeed blessed to have them as a 'two-for-one" Youth team.
