Miguel Ulloa was saved at work in 1980 when a coworker shared the gospel. He became a Deacon in 2002. Miguel works as a group counselor for the Kern County Probation Department. He and his wife, Claudia have been members for five years. Claudia is a High School Teacher, and both work in our Sunday School as teachers. They have two children, Nehemias and Eunice. Miguel and Claudia have a goal that their children will know God, and that He will know them.

Pat Denio began to seve as Deacon this year. Pat is committed to serving the Lord on a full time basis. His wife, Dana, is a long term teacher of one of our Sunday School classes, and serves as altar counselor. Pat volunteers as "Church Gate Keeper", which requires him to be at every service before people come, and after everyone is gone, to secure the church property. This couple are true "servants of the Lord" and are willing to help you in any way during your christian walk.
Harvey and Brenda Lemon are long time members of our church. Harvey has served willingly as a Deacon. They are involved in our Sunday School and have two Children, Candice, a Bakersfield College student, and Austin, a senior at Foothill High School. Harvey is a plaster contractor, and Brenda is on staff at San Joaquin Hospital. Thay are always eager to help when needed.
Gene and Mavine Jackson are our senior most active Deacons. They were married in our church and have been God's servants here for over 60 years. Gene is a men';s Sunday School teacher and Mavine is outreach specialist for her Ladies class. They are our hospital visiting prayer warriors. Gene and his wife check with the church office daily to keep track of sick or hospitalized friends. We can always count on them to be ready to serve when needed. Gene is currently the Deacon's Chairman.
